A strong portfolio of art/design work is required for all courses.
Foundation Diploma in Art & Design
Successful completion of the 고등학교 졸업장 / 고등학교 과정 수료증 (High School Diploma)
Plus IELTS for UKVI 5.0 with no component below 4.5 (IELTS for UKVI is the only test accepted by UK Visas & Immigration for entry to Further Education courses.
Students completing the 고등학교 졸업장 / 고등학교 과정 수료증 (High School Diploma) will need to take an additional course before applying for an undergraduate degree at Leeds Arts University. This will usually be achieved by completing a recognised foundation course, such as our Foundation Diploma in Art & Design, or other comparable qualification.
Completion of 준학사 (Junior University Diploma / Associate degree)**
Plus evidence of your English Language ability equivalent to IELTS 5.5 with no component less than 5.5. Please see English Language for details of accepted qualifications.
**We may consider Korean High School Diploma graduates if you have a very strong portfolio.
A second class upper division honours degree or international equivalent; or a relevant professional qualification at an equivalent level, supported by a portfolio of work.
Candidates holding other academic qualifications will also be considered for admission provided they have substantial relevant professional experience and a portfolio of work.
For MA Creative Practice please include a proposal with your application outlining the area of practice you wish to develop, what you hope to achieve, a bibliography of books and resources you intend to use and the facilities and support you believe you will need.
