If you are interested in one of our Further Education courses, you will need to create an account on our Applicant Portal and apply direct to the University. We are no longer accepting applications for 2021 entry but applications for 2022 will open soon.

Application process

Once we receive your application form, we will check that you meet or have the potential to meet our entry requirements.

If you meet or have the potential to meet our entry requirements, you will be invited to submit three pieces of work via our Applicant Portal (they must not exceed a total file size of 30MB). You will have seven days to submit your images. Click here for our application image guidance.

It is highly important that you regularly check our portal and your email inbox for updates as your application may not be progressed if we do not receive your images by the given deadline.

When to apply

Foundation Diploma in Art & Design

In order to guarantee that your application will be considered it must reach the Admissions department by 29 January 2021 (the previous deadline of 15 January has been extended this year by UCAS).

Applications received after 29 January 2021 will be considered on a first come first served basis according to availability.

Extended Diploma in Creative Practice

Whilst there is no formal deadline for applications for these courses, we recommend submitting as soon as possible as demand is very high.

If you need any assistance completing your application, please contact the Admissions team at admissions@leeds-art.ac.uk.

Whilst we hope to get a decision to you within four weeks of receiving your application, please note that the current pandemic may affect our ability to meet that timeline.
