Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.
As part of the wider Academic Computing team, the successful applicant will instruct and support students across all courses in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite as well as specialist instruction and support in our Digital 3D, 3D Printing and Video editing area. The team also supports our reprographics facilities and the use of audio and audio-visual equipment in teaching rooms and the auditoria. The successful candidate will have skills or specialism in one or more of these areas - in order to compliment the skills base of the team.
Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and occasional weekends will be required.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. They should have a strong practical knowledge of relevant hardware and software and be able to relate well to a wide range of students.
