Freedom of Information

From February 2005, under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, all individuals have a general right of access to information that is held by public authorities.

Leeds Arts University routinely publishes information, which is made available under the University’s Publication Scheme. The scheme is based on the model document produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office, and details the different classes of information covered by the scheme as well as where that information can be located.

For information which is not published as part of this scheme, then a request can be made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 by emailing: foi@leeds-art.ac.uk. Please note that Leeds Arts University is currently in the process of updating its website. For this reason, there may be instances where the links provided in the publication scheme do not contain the required information. If you are trying to access information that is included in the publication scheme, but are experiencing difficulties, then please email foi@leeds-art.ac.uk.

Leeds Arts University is committed to openness in relation to its staff and students and also to the general public. If for whatever reason you are dissatisfied with the response that you receive, then you can request an internal review as per the Freedom of Information Internal Review Process.
