If you’ve got a great idea for a start-up business, Start-Up Wednesdays will get you thinking about your strategy and help give you a better chance of success.

So you’re bursting with creative ideas for a start-up business, but aren’t sure how to make it all happen? We run a series of afternoon workshops for our students, called Start-Up Wednesdays. They’re all about enterprise: turning your business ideas into reality.

We invite experts from the creative industries to come in and talk to you about your business ideas. They’ll discuss your ideas with you, and assess how viable they are. They can provide all sorts of insights and advice about setting up on your own, as well as how to pitch your ideas and market your business.

The sessions also cover important business content, such as protecting your intellectual and legal property, how to budget and manage your money, and how to go freelance.

When?

All students are warmly invited to attend these workshops. They take place every other Wednesday afternoon in term-time, with refreshments provided.
