Care Leavers And Looked After Young People

Leeds Arts University organise taster days and after school classes so that care leavers have an opportunity to experience some of the specialist facilities at the University.

We have a dedicated care leaver contact, Ann Trusson, who can answer questions regarding our courses and the support we offer. To talk to Ann please ring 0113 202 8254 or email ann.trusson@leeds-art.ac.uk

On the UCAS application, students are asked if they are a care leaver or a looked-after young person. This is important because there may be extra financial support available. We encourage care leavers to tick this box. Those applicants, who have ticked this box when applying to Leeds Arts University, will be contacted by Ann Trusson to find out if there is any additional support needed before the start of term.
