Leeds Art Gallery holds and exhibits one of the most outstanding collections of modern British art outside London.

Originally opened in 1888, its collections are designated by the government to be of international importance and it is one of the city’s most visited attractions with nearly half a million visiting every year. It is also home to Leeds Museums and Galleries' flagship shop, the spectacular Tiled Hall café and Artspace, a family friendly creative room.

The Gallery offers a great opportunity to explore both historic and contemporary art exhibitions and experience the city’s incredible permanent collections.
