If your home institution does not have a formal partnership with Leeds Arts University, you can apply to study with us as a Visiting Student. Please apply using the Incoming Visiting Student Application Form. Please note that Visiting Students are charged the international tuition fee on a pro rata basis. Contact the International Office for further information.
Please note: For 2017-18 we are NOT accepting incoming exchange applications for semester 2 entry into BA (Hons) Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design. We apologise for any disappointment.

The deadline to apply is 1st May for entry in the autumn semester and 1st November for entry in the spring semester.

When are the application deadlines?
The application deadlines for incoming exchange students are:
1 May (Autumn arrivals) - this is our preferred entry point.
1 November (Spring arrivals)
How long are the exchange periods?
A normal exchange period of study is one semester of our Level 5 (academic year 2). In exceptional circumstances we could consider extending the exchange for a full academic year although this is at the Programme Leader's discretion.
Semester dates vary between institutions, so please check carefully when your exchange is expected to start. We will be in touch to confirm when your orientation will take place.

My home university does not have an exchange agreement with Leeds Arts University. Can I still apply to do an exchange?
You can apply as a Visiting Student! Although please note that without an inter-institutional exchange agreement, you will be liable to pay tuition fees at the appropriate rate.
You might also want to consider approaching us to suggest a partnership with your home institution. Please contact email@example.com to discuss this further.
