HE, three years, full-time, day-time
We are interested in asking the question, how can visual communication be used to improve the world? The course will encourage you to question, debate and define your role as a visual communicator, exploring the what, who and why of communication just as much as the how.
You will creatively explore ideas that are relevant to you, developing the content of your work as much as its visual qualities. You’ll collaborate with fellow students, engage with clients on live briefs, enter competitions and work within community settings, always embracing the idea of giving an audience to your work.
We provide a broad programme of study across a range of disciplines. Skills are developed in a range of media that include graphic design, illustration, photography, book design, typography, print-making, web design, digital media, video and animation. If you wish, it is possible to maintain a multi-disciplinary approach by working across a wide range of media.
During their time at the College, five of our students were included in the D&AD Awards Annual 2007; won a Gold Award in Environmental Design in the D&AD Awards 2006, and won Best in Show in D&AD New Blood.
Is this the course for you?
