FE, two years, full-time, day-time
This course will take you through a range of modules which will help you to develop practical, creative and theoretical knowledge and skills. It will also prepare you for progression to higher education, including a BA (Hons) in Fashion here at the College, and will help students prepare for employment in the fashion industry.

End of year show
Second year students exhibit their work in the End of Year Show and fashion show.
Assessment
There are assessments at the end of each term and at the end of each module.
Live briefs and competitions
You will have opportunities to complete live briefs and to enter fashion design competitions. You will also be encouraged to undertake fashion-related work experience.
Resources
The course has its own dedicated studio equipped with industrial sewing machines. Students also have access to CAD facilities.
Study visits
Educational visits are organised to a variety of exhibitions.
Progression & career opportunities
The majority of students choose to progress to fashion-related degrees. Others go straight into employment in a variety of fashion-related areas, such as designer-making, bridal and evening wear, visual merchandising, fashion retail and management training.
