Graduates and staff from Leeds College of Art feature heavily in this September’s issue of Creative Review. The issue focuses on pairing recent graduates with industry professionals who give them valuable advice about their future career. Leeds College of Art has representatives from both of these camps with recent BA (Hons) Graphic Design graduate Arthur Carey, BA (Hons) Visual Communication student Sam Tomlins and Foundation Tutor Matthew Hodgson.
Arthur Carey chatted to design studio ‘A practice for everyday life’ who were impressed by his diverse portfolio and offered him advice on his CV, portfolio and interview skills.
Matthew ‘The Horse’ Hodgson, a commercial illustrator and tutor on the Foundation course at the College discussed Sam Tomlins portfolio and website in detail and gave him practical tips to prepare himself for a future in the industry.
