Holiday entitlement
Academic staff get 35 days' holiday per year (pro rata), plus 8 days' statutory holiday. Business support and resource staff get 25 or 26 days' holiday per year (pro rata), plus 8 days' statutory holiday. Extra holidays are given for long service.
Final-salary pension schemes
Academic staff have access to the Teachers' Pension Scheme (your employer contributes 14.1%, and you contribute 6%). Business support and resource staff have access to The West Yorkshire Pension Fund (your employer contributes 12%, and your contribution is dependent on your salary.
